Adherence rate toward to prayer in the students of Semnan University of Medical Sciences

Abstract:
Introduction
Prayer is one of the important pillars of Islam and divine duty to adhere to the criterion measure of faith and knowledge is virtue. Students play an important role in the future leadership of the country and led to the perfection and goals of other social groups in the country. The purpose of this study was to evaluate adherence to the prayers of Semnan University of Medical Sciences (SUMS).Materials And Methods
This cross - sectional survey was performed in on 699 students of SUMS. The forms of data collection included demographic information and the prayer list were completed by students.Results
The results showed that %56.6 of students have high level, very high and adhered to the ritual prayer. ANOVA test results showed a significant relationship between the commitment of students to perform the ritual prayer aged students (p =0.300), marital status (p = 0.004) and university students (p = 0.014). Conclusion
Based on these findings, more students of SUMS were committed to prayer. According to the results of this study and to develop commitment to comunity prayer need to organize better and attract more students have paid more attentionKeywords:
