A Comparative Study of Curriculum in Master's Degree of Translation Studies between Western Universities and University of Isfahan

The current study aims at comparing the curriculum in masters'' degree of translation studies at the University of Isfahan with several other American and British universities including Indiana University، University of Texas at Brownsville، Wake Forest University، University of East Anglia (Applied Translation Studies)، Durham university، University of Westminster (MA in Translation and Linguistics)، University of Westminster (MA in Bilingual Translation)، University of Surrey، Bangor University، and University of Hull. The research also addresses the question of how universities provide opportunities for their students to develop translation skills needed in the changing world of science. Finding the commonalities and differences among the selected universities and the University of Isfahan were the main concern. In this regard، a number of eight criteria were considered as the framework rubrics under which the evaluation was carried on.
