The effect of cultural intelligence case study of large, comprehensive university students in the 9th area of Islamic Azad University from 1390 to 1391
This study aims at determining the effect of cultural intelligence on undergraduate students at the very large and comprehensive Islamic Azad University, Region 9 carried out. For the purpose of this study, the longitudinal model is used. Hypothetical test results show that the mean rank difference between freshman and senior year of college rankings in terms of cultural intelligence is not final. But, when various aspects of cultural intelligence are examined, it reveals that the correlation between university education and behavioral intelligence is significant. Thus, the most influential dimensions of a university education is cultural intelligence, behavioral intelligence is second as seen in the average rank. The greatest difference between first-year and senior-year of college students is found in behavioral intelligence. Behavioral aspect of cultural intelligence reflects the ability of verbal and non-verbal behavior appropriately when communicating with people from other cultures. On the other hand, the University has managed to teach students to interact with individuals or groups with different cultural backgrounds or even have effective interactions with individuals who are culturally opposite. Based on the theory of contact, the increased contact between people of different cultures provides the opportunity to interact during long duration of time. Increased contact among people from different groups can lead to an increased understanding of the similarities between them and the categories that people use to identify other's changs.
