A reflection over Bada in the discussion of imam Riza with Sulaiman Marvazi

in the discussion about God’s attributes and Acts, Bada has an special place to the point that it has been asserted God did not appoint any prophet unless He took his allegiance about Bada. Imam Riza in his discussion with Sulaiman Marvazi dealt with this issue in terms of Quranic verses to explain and prove the truth of Bada. In the present study, the author tried to clarify the meaning of Bada by referring to the ideas of Shia scholars, including narrators of traditions, Motekkalims and philosophers. One of the explanatories in this regard is the works of Mirza Mahdi Esfahani in which various aspects of Bada have been mentioned.
