Explication and the Study of the Role and the Place of Iran Police Management in National Security Strategy

Today the concept of national security، in addition to negative dimension، the positive dimension is added too. The positive dimension namely securing favorite condition inside country is such that provides satisfaction and political legitimacy of the state and promotes social integrity and satisfaction feeling for situation in the country. Therefore in this research، the role and the place of police in national security regarding changes in national security concept is studied. This can be a basic research which has practical application. Research method is explanation and induction which documentary and library studies are used. Based on research results in negative dimension of national security، the police duty is managing efficiently and preventing public security affairs to become national security affairs. In positive dimension too in one hand by providing high quality service and considering citizen concerns in their missions، police tries to acquire people satisfaction and promote feeling safety. On the other hand in society by internalization of situational prevention and empowering individuals in solving problems، police tries to achieve self-responsible based society. Combining duties in positive and negative dimensions of national security، the police management model for national security is introduced and policy making subjects and titles، methods and targets and expected results are introduced as research findings.
