Combination of Traditional Paired Comparison and Voting Analytic Hierarchy Process in Iran Police

It is intended to analyze performance improvement and factors influencing it and also finding the relative importance of each factor in Iran police. Therefore in consultation with the experts of this field، standards and sub standards for performance improvement identified. Then by formulating the questionnaire، the importance of each factor studied. Using traditional methods in determination of significance coefficient was the most important challenges facing multi criteria decision making. Subjective judgments، orientations and decision makers'' superficial contacts were the most important factors that confronted paired comparison accuracy with doubt. Methods based on voting is the newest methods that by rating the standards in addition to removing pervious methods faults، make managers decisions more reliable. The reliability of the obtained results in ranking the effective factors on performance improvement can provide a basis for analysis and interpretation of management problems and macro decision making.
