Assessing the status of religious coping styles among students of PNU and its relationship to Spiritual Intelligence

Abstract:
In order to assess the status of religious coping styles among students of PNU and its relationship to spiritual Intelligence a study was between sophomore students studying in the academic year 2010-2011 in Ardabil Payame Noor University. About 400 students were selected using cluster random sampling method. The analysis showed that spiritual Intelligence and its components including the existential status of critical thinking, personal interpretation, divine consciousness and transcendental consciousness are significantly higher than average among male and female students. But spiritual link among the male students is about the average. Meanwhile 5 percent of those students had negative coping and 95 percent had positive coping strategy. In addition, the spiritual intelligence variable was not a good method for explaining the significant meaningful contrast styles. In general, it can be said that most of the students have been positive coping style and the prediction in a homogeneous society, is not often significant.
