The Study of Shortcomings and the Problems on the Sustainable Development of Rey Tourism in Tehran

Abstract:
This study investigates the problems and the shortcomings of sustainable development of Rey tourism, according to view of its residents and tourists in 2011. Statistical Society of studding has been formed of Rey tourists and residents. Among the Society of studding; according to Morgan and Karjesis''s Table (1998) 380 persons were selected as statistical sample, and with relative random sampling way. Because of the aim of the application and methods, the study is descriptive. Data collection tools were researcher made questionnaire. The Obtained Cronbach’s alpha for reliability of the questionnaire is calculated0/81. The results showed that based on the opinions of respondents, the most important shortcomings of Rey tourism are «the lack of accommodation» and «the lack of necessary investment in tourism development». Also, based on the opinion of the respondents, construction of park and green space and construction of educational and cultural spaces are of the most important requisite spaces for development of Rey tourism.
