Explaining the Impact of Militarization Aspects of Caspian Sea on I. R. Iran's National Security

Caspian Sea, after soviet collapse became to tense and volatile environment, due to competing regional and international powers, that led to spread the process of militarization in the region. Since every kind of political and military interaction in this region is crucial for national security of I.R.Iran, this article based on library method and we distributed questionnaire among 55 persons of elites with using likert.The purpose of this research is to identify stressors affecting of this militarization process on I.R.Iran’s national security. Findings of research, by examining the four factors such as, “Caspian energy, differences between Russia and the west, US efforts to isolate Iran in the region and between countries in the Caspian sea about the legal regime”, show this conclusion that each of these factors play own role in militarization of this region and led to some threats for I.R.Iran national security.
