comparisan viewpoints of medical students and faculty members of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences on quality improvement strategies of morning reports(2012)

main purpose of morning report is comprehensive training on various aspects of the disease. In this in this study, 41 faculty members and 103 students were recruited by purposive sampling method. data collected Instrument was questionnaire with 15 question was desinged using reliable sources of clinical training.T Test and Fisher's exact test was used to data analysis.The main criteria for patients selection of the instructors view(41.5%), was patients with uncertainty diagnostic and from students point of view(47.6%), was patients with common disease. Also from the viewpoint of most instructors and students, the best source for selecting patients,was patients who had been admitted to the emergency room yesterday and expressed the most appropriate method of students assessment, question and answer during sessions. most of the them believed the two cases is enough to introduce each session. From the perspective of most instructors, the main topics for discussion in morning repore include step by step approach to disease. Whereas from the students viewpoint, this topics were patient tests interpret and patients Following. monitoring. Morning reports meeting in addition to training, should gradually lead to formation of creativity and critical thinking, and make a commitment and professional responsibility.
