Factors Affecting Quality of Internship Learning Environment at Ramin University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Iran

Learning environment includes physical, psychological, emotional conditions and equipment, as well as social and cultural factors that affect the growth and development of a learner in an educational institution. This study aimed at identifying factors affecting the quality of students’ internship learning environment at Ramin University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. A survey method was used. The statistical population consisted of all senior students who passed internship course (N 235). Sample size was determined (n=145).applying Morgan Table and stratified random sampling technique was used to select samples. Data was collected using questionnaire. That its validity was confirmed by a panel of agricultural extension and education experts. Reliability of the questionnaire was conducted and confirmed using Cronbachs alpha 0.96. The findings showed that from the view point of the students, the process of agricultural apprenticeship was relatively favorable, at the Input factors were relatively unfavorable and the overall learning environment was relatively unfavorable. Using factor analysis technique, variables affecting the quality of apprenticeships learning environment summarized in five factors namely: conditions and facilities apprenticeships centers, coach performance apprenticeships, mutual interaction between universities and internship course centers, educational content, and educational planning. conditions and facilities apprenticeships centers explained the highest variance of the variables. These five factors totally explained 57.17 percent of variables affecting internship courses learning environment.
