Knowledge Management in Payam Noor University Analyzing the Status of Items Affecting Key Indicators of Knowledge Management

Knowledge is becoming the key element of power in the third millennium, the organizations are driven to use individual and collective knowledge in order to succed and gain competitive advantages. Universities as centers of producing knowledge and training in every country have an important role in accelerating development of countries. This study aimed to examine and prioritize the current status of indicators such as; Strategy, culture, structure, motivation and reward systems, processes, technology, resource and leadership as the most effective important indicators in knowledge management process in organizations and thus offer solutionsfor enhancement. In this paper we used a developmental research & descriptive surveys. Statiscal population included 180 staff and faculty members of Payam Noor University of Tehran, A sampling size of 125 pepole was selected randomly using Morgan’s table. The priority of measured Indicators and items was determined using Freidman test, results showed that the leadership indicator received the highest priority. In addition to that, using focus group method, we introduce ways to improve each of indicators & items explored in this work.
