The aim of this study was to assess safety culture and its influencing factors in the Bafg quarry mine company. This cross-sectional study was conducted among 223 workers in the Bafg quarry mine company. In order to determine the level of safety culture in the quarry, safety culture standard questionnaire was used that included 80 questions. The Results of study showed The mean of the subject’s age, work experience and score of safety culture were 34.14±7.8, 12.17±6.4 years and 256.6±33.4, respectively. A total of 60 individuals had a history accident. The most common cause of the accidents was indiscretions (56.7%). There was a statistically significant correlation between Safety culture and accident history and work experience (P<0.05). The percentage of a positive safety culture of workers with accident history was more than the percentage of those without an experience of accident. There was not a statistically significant correlation between safety culture and age, education, and marital status. It seems that safety culture is influenced by the accident history in the Quarry and there was a significant relationship with the history of accident. So, in order to improving the safety culture in the workers should be invested on safety training, use of experienced workers and analysis of events.
