Risk assessment in a Foundry company using ETBA method

Abstract:
Basical metals industry has developed in recent years. Accident control to protect the human force is a major constant development element and foundry as a mother industry has been shortly considered. Regard to the importance of topic for risk assessment and identification numerous methods such energy trace and barrier analysis of comparative controlling systems developed for risk assessments in muscle unit. This study is a descriptive research in Balin Tak Company. In this research, safety assessment is done by Energy Trace and Barrier Analysis and risks assessment has been done qualitatively. To do these, risk matrix represented in (ET and BA) was utilized to qualitative categorization of intensity and risk possibility. In standard MIL-STD-882E related to this research, sixteen risks were identified, four unacceptable risks, six unfavorable risks and six acceptable risks with review. This research is implementation of appropriate monitoring efforts of 1A. Meantime, fall is with risk number, Housekeeping training by surveillance and audit settlement, engineering efforts, regular safety schedule for staff, punitive and appreciating plans to consider safety rules to reduce risks.
