Effective Social Factors in Lawbreaking in Social Relations (case study: Upper 18 year-old Residents of Shiraz)

The present paper tries to investigate the effective social factors in law breaking in social relations in Shiraz. This is a field study performed on 377 of upper 18 year-old residents of Shiraz. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. Analysis of the data demonstrated that law breaking was high among 50% of the statistical sample. Two of the six hypotheses presented in the study were rejected. The findings of the study also showed that men are more likely to break the law. The most important independent variables as well as the appropriate amount of reward and punishment, sense of social attachment, resources and facilities were determined.
