A Review on the Status of Recording and Attaining Criminal Backgrounds of the Criminals in the Police System

Based on the researches on criminal justice interventions, hopes in the efficiency of the criminal's training programs in the prisons have faded away since 1960s, but identification and management of the risks of criminals a an approach has been flourished. In this approach, one's criminal background as well as personal, social, and legal features are evaluated and balanced in order to better assign punishments. The process of recording and attaining criminal backgrounds of the criminals in the police system is older and more efficient than the legal system. The present paper tries to clarify the lacks in the legal frameworks and present certain solutions to the problem.
