The Relationship Between Personality Features and Job Satisfaction of Tehran Traffic Police Officers

Abstract:
Effective and skillful human resources are assets of every country and efficiency and effectiveness of an organization is dependent upon its human resource effectiveness. In order to keep effectiveness and efficiency, organizations should pay close attention to personnel job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has different dimensions among them compatibility of personality and job have paramount importance. The aim of the present research is to investigate the relationship between personality features and job satisfaction of Tehran police officers. The research method is descriptive and correlation and statistical population was all senior officers of traffic police officers of Tehran, which consisted of 211 subjects. Questionnaire was used in order to gather The required data. Results showed that the compatibility of job and personality factors can boost the performance.
