Evaluating implemented linear sprinkler irrigation systems (Linear) in Qazvin Plain

To evaluate the performance of irrigation systems by providing the possibility of increasing irrigation efficiency in these systems is an important factor in the field of better management of water resources. In this study، the hydraulic performance of the three systems of linear move sprinkler irrigation in maize، sugar beet and alfalfa fields of Magsal agroindustrial company located in Qazvin plain were studied in 2013. In order to evaluate the hydraulic performance of the irrigation systems، uniformity index includes Christiansen، coefficient of uniformity، the coefficient of distribution uniformity، potential efficiency of water use in the lower quarter and the actual efficiency of water use in the lower quarter determined with networking water collection cans for each of the irrigation systems in the four fields separately. Based on the results of this study، the average values of these parameters were observed 73. 3، 61. 9، 68. 21 and 50. 6 percent، respectively which express low amounts of the coefficients in the systems studied. After doing the calculations، three-dimensional model of the spatial distribution of the output water of the sprinklers at the field level was drawn using GS + software. Overall، these results indicate that the linear move sprinkler irrigation systems that are studied in this experiment are not good in performance that of the main reasons can be pointed to weaknesses in the management of these systems
