Effective Factors in Burglary

Burglary is among the most ancient crimes. Such crime has been the subject of vast changes in the course of time. This study aims at investigating burglary and identifying factors effective in the commitment of it by Rasht burglares in 2012. The theoretical framework of the study is based on sociological approaches. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. SPSS was used to analyze the collected data. 80 subjects were studied as the statistical sample. The findings of the study demonstrated that there was a significant relationship between the commitment of crime and variables such education, religion, affection toward family, spare time, and outer control.
