Historical process of Iranian music from ancient era until emergence of Safawids

Iranians believe that music is soul’s food and perfected form of human art which is created for making deep emotions in listeners’ heart. The value and importance of this art in history is its role to balance between people so is said that where talk stops, the music starts. Human beings have demanded to find a remedy for decreasing their pains and anxieties, put them in a timeless world and complete their psychological – spiritual and godly recognition. The author in this article is going to survey and study the historical process of music and the change of elements which have effected on its promotion and its fall from the ancient era until safawids.
