Assessment of Non-prosperity Reasons of Knowledge Based Approaches in Public Organizations

Today, due to increasing growth of economic based knowledge, knowledge is a critical factor for the success of organizations and, its Successful management helps the organization to provide effective services. In this regard, the knowledge based approaches in the organizations may be failed consistently. Therefore, this study aims to identify and ranking the reasons of knowledge-based approaches failure. This study methodology is descriptive-analytic, and also applicable, and has used a questionnaire to data gathering. Statistical society includes staffs of electrical Company in Yazd. In order to aim of study, the theoretical bases and background reviewed and reasons of failure indentified, after interview with experts. Then, these factors divided to four dimensions by Factor Analyze method. Eventually, these four dimensions ranked based on Factor Analyze outcomes that the results had show main reason of Knowledge Management failure is technology. Fuzzy Topsis Technique had support this ranking.
