Abstract:
It is necessary to monitor the quality and corruption of fresh meat products, with the aim of reducing the incidence of diseases and reduce of food waste throughout the supply chain to meat; However, Traditional packaging systems are able to provide slightly services in the monitoring of the supply chain. the new intelligent packaging systems in order to monitor the quality of meat-packing or the environment of its around, are progressing towards to provide innovative packaging solutions in the production and supply of meat products. As today, the different types of commercial intelligent systems such as time-temperature, Integrity, Freshness indicators, and Radiofrequency identification (RFID) systems, have been introduced to market food, to improve storage conditions and safe, and reduce waste fresh meat products. However, each method has advantages and disadvantages, which affects the system performance.
