An Investigation of Scientific Products of Scientific Members of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, University of Tehran (2004-2010)

In the present study, scientific products of 30 members of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Faculty, University of Tehran (2004-2010) were investigated. To collect the data, the scientific products of these members were collected by the resumes of their research activities and also by searching various databases and registered in separate checklists. Then, the gathered data were consecutively ranked based on one of the study questions and Excel software was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the articles published in local journals were ideal in all physical education fields while in international journals, sport medicine and sport physiology articles were in a better condition than those in sport management and motor behavior. Regarding the number of articles in national and international conferences, all fields were in an ideal condition. Sport medicine with two scientific members had the best condition in international conferences. Regarding the number of ISI articles, sport medicine with two scientific members enjoyed the most ideal condition.
