Measurement of the Student's sense of security based on Police Performance

Sense of security is one of the basic needs of the society. Police need to prepare a secure environment for every people. Conducting such studies is needed regarding the increasing social insecurity, especially for women and students. This study aims at measuring the students’ sense of security in Tehran. This was an applied descriptive-analytic field study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. 100 female students were randomly selected to from the statistical sample of the study. The findings of the study demonstrated that the socialfinancial status of the father of the family has no significant effect on the students’ sense of security. Findings also showed that the police physical presence has significant relationship with the students’ sense of security.
