The Effect of Blood Money Annual Increase on the Rate of Fraud and Bribery

Murderer in Iran’s Criminal Law is sentenced to pay blood money in case the crime is unintentional. The blood money is annually increased based on the inflation. The present study tries to investigate the effect of blood money annual increase on the rate of fraud and bribery. This was a field study. The instrument used for data collecting was questionnaire. The statistical population of the study was formed by judges, governmental insurance experts, and experts of the private insurance companies of Kermanshah.80 of Them were selected to from the Statistical sample of the Study. The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between the annual increase of blood money and the rate of fraud and bribery.
