The Comparative Study of Social Damages among Students with Regarding Western and Islamic Lifestyles

The most important problem (which today our society is facing) is different lifestyles which cause teenage confusion and provide their deviant behaviors and social pathologies. The aim of this research is to study social pathologies among the students of Islamic Azad University of Tabriz with considering the Islamic and Western lifestyles comparatively. The method of the research from the goal aspect is applied (operational or functioning) and from the method of collecting data is descriptive and of causal-comparative. The statistical population is all male and female students ofIslamic Azad University of Tabriz who are studying in 1392/1393 that they are 22543 students. 12734 of them are male students and 9809 are female students. With using Cochran's formula, it was selected a sample of 380 students. In this research in order to study social damages, it is used parameters such as robbery, drug addiction, sexual deviances, violence and running away from home and questionnaires are used to collect data. It is used manovatests (multivariate analysis of variance) to test hypotheses. Findings show that social damages of those with Islamic lifestyle are different from those with Western lifestyle. With considering theconsidered and used by authorities.
