Abstract:
The human being as subject has many changes in the history of thought. The rationality of classic era was developed in such a way, specially in ancient Greece, while subject had original role. Again subject achieved to transcendental position in the modern times. Although the subject received very excellent character in the modern times, but some believe that autonomous rationality of this current times has more older roots in older times like ancient Greece reflections. This statement reinforces that modernity is reinterpretation of tradition rather than conflict with it. Therefore we can consider this important event as return to the some of foundations but in critical reading could naturally obtaining of some sectors and of course exclusion of the others. Modernity has confronted in its path with different challenges in realization of its ideals and intentions whom some of them was concerned to subject insofar as some thinkers obviously declared death of subject. Jurgen Habermas in contemporary times as the important representative of critical theory tries and claims to revive the subject in intersubjectivity by the use of unfinished capacities of modernity. This is achieved through language and communicative action.
