The survey of comparative quality of life of nurses with paramedical staffs in selected military and non military hospital

Different organizational environment and the organizational culture govern them have a significant effect on health and life quality of medical staff. Human workers as the base of health systems¡ have important role in achieving organizational goals. Therefore it is important to take into account their health and qualities of life. The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative study to evaluate the life quality of nurses with paramedical workers in the selected military and non military hospitals.
This research is a cross-sectional descriptive study. 375 Nursing and Paramedical personnel of two military and non-military hospitals of Tehran were studied in a systematic random manner. Data collection tools were the demographic characteristic questionnaire and the short form (SF36) questionnaire of life quality. Statistical chi-square¡ Mann-Whitney and Spearman tests and spss software were used for analyzing the information.
