The Study of Psychological Well-Being and Life Satisfaction among Polygamy and Monogamy Families

Abstract:
Purpose
In this study, to examine and compare the psychological well-being, marital and life satisfaction among women are monogamous and polygamous families.
Method
The study of causal - comparative, to this end, 60 women and 52 men from polygamous families in monogamous families in the present study were selected. To gather the data, and psychological well-being, marital and life satisfaction were used for statistical data analysis methods, Pearson correlation, multiple regression and independent t test was used step by step.
Findings: Findings showed that overall psychological well-being scores were positive and meaningful relationship with marital adjustment and the Satisfaction with Life Scale scores were positively related to shares and marital adjustment.
Conclusion
Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the marital satisfaction of women's psychological well-being and compatibility polygamous families are more likely than women in monogamous families
