The analysis of devotion's role in delivering services to pilgrims and tourists in Mashhad

Devotions are among influential capitals which can play an important role in the obviation of many economic challenges in the society through taking appropriate management perspective towards them. But their potentials are not utilized well in the economic prosperity and growth. Therefore, the objective of the current study is the contribution to devotions efficiency in Mashhhad in order to deliver services to tourist and pilgrims there. So that, for the objective of the study, 45 experts from 3 related organizations were surveyed and data were analyzed by FAHP model. Results show that it is necessary to use devotion's potential to remove barriers in the fields of pilgrim's accommodation, cultural and religious services and transportation. Moreover, it must be mentioned that some changes in certain structures and methods in this field is necessary including the organizing of devotions towards required functions, developing a coherent information and advertising system in order to encourage people towards the act of devoting, prevention of repeated works, balanced distribution of devotions and their revenues , using up to date economic management and making use of financial institutions professional potency to increase financial resources.
