To Determine the Relationship of Involvement with Satisfaction and Citizenship Behavior of Spectators

The aim of this research was to evaluate the relationship of involvement with satisfaction and citizenship behavior in spectators of volleyball premier league and horse riding national championship of Gonbad Kavous city. The method was correlation and application regarding the aim of the study which was conducted as a field. The statistical population was all spectators over 18 years old who attend sport facilities to watch major sport events in Gonbad Kavous city. As this population was more than 25000 subjects, statistical sample was selected based on Morgan table (n=384) using a stratified random sampling method. The data were collected from by three researcher-made questionnaires: involvement questionnaire, Cronin (2000) satisfaction questionnaire and Groth (2005) citizenship behavior questionnaire in a 7point Likert scale. To examine the validity, the primary questionnaires were approved by 10 sport management experts and the final versions were approved based on their viewpoints. The reliabilities of involvement, satisfaction and citizenship behavior questionnaires were obtained by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient as 0.71, 0.73, and 0.79 respectively.
