Theoretical explanation of police social capital: attempting for conceptualization

Nowadays, organizations in high level of active interaction and communication toward citizens , use social capital as a kind of valuable possessing inorder to promote their own abilities and capabilities. Social capital is considered as important subjects in organizations such as police which have daily interactions toward society. Meanwhile within high importance of the subject . There isnt any clear theoretical definition of social capital yet and empirical actions couldnt often show a good definition of the concept. Therefor The present research is trying to answer the question: what is police social capital? What are its aspects? in this research extra organization aspect of police social capital is considered and in order to answer the above questions. They have tried to present a clear image and definition of police social capital using qualitative procedure and analysis of available aspects about police social capital. According to research findings, police social capital is a complex of capacities, capabilities and police social source such as people reliance on police, people participation with police, authority, acceptability legitimacy popularity and dignity of police in a manner that enjoyment of these sources leads to production and reproduction of order and security in society and caring society values. This capital is measured with aspects of people "trust to police", "people participation with police", "police authority", "legitimacy and acceptibilty of police(by people)" and social popularity and dignity of police.
