The impact of social networks on social security feeling and the Ethnic identity in Islamic Azad University of Tabriz

Development of new technologies and multimedia tools has created changes in believes, values and lifestyles, Global spread of these changes are permanently intensified and have a profound mutual effect on many aspects of social life and cultural interaction. Therefore, this study trying to evaluate the impact of social networking such as Facebook, Tango, Viber, Telegram on social security and national identity was carried out on the students of Islamic Azad University of Tabriz.
For this purpose, 181 students of Islamic Azad University, who were selected by multistage random sampling answered perfect the questionnaire of demographic information, social security and national identity.
Findings: Multivariate variance analysis showed that the components of social security sense and component of the police function and state laws in two groups: composed of member and not member social networks is significant. The means indicate that students with membership in social networks feel social security less than non-members. ANOVA results (analysis of variance) also indicate a significant difference between the two groups (groups with membership in social networks and non-members) in national identity.
Discussions and The results indicate that informative and managerial measures should be used alongside using content in social networks.
