The Role of Being Satisfied with Ways of Organizing Martyrs Cemetery in Social-Emotional and Spiritual-Psychological Satisfaction of the Families of the Military Martyrs

Martyrs’ cemetery is a place to preserve and pay respect to the culture of martyrdom and is a proof of innocence and purity of people who sacrificed their most valuable asset, their lives, to defend their thoughts and homeland; therefore, preserving their sacredness and restoring martyrs’ cemetery are among the most important tasks of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs. The present study aimed to examine the role of being satisfied with ways of organizing martyrs’ cemetery in social-emotional and spiritual-psychological satisfaction of the esteemed families of the military martyrs of Sistan and Baluchestan.
This descriptive study followed a correlationalpredictive design and the statistical population of the current study included all the esteemed families of the military martyrs living in Zabol and Zahedan. Convenience sampling method was applied. Determining the sample size was conducted using Cochran formula, based on which 229 of the esteemed families of the military martyrs were selected. Research tools included a researcher-made questionnaire. Data analysis was performed in both descriptive and inferential levels through applying SPSS.
Results of simultaneous regression analysis indicated that ways of organizing martyrs’ cemetery only predicted 12.7% of the variance in the variable of social- emotional satisfaction and 9.6% of the variance in the variable of spiritual-psychological satisfaction of the esteemed families of the military martyrs in Zabol and Zahedan.
Findings of the present study demonstrated this fact that being satisfied with the ways of organizing martyrs’ cemetery can have profound mental, psychological, and social effects on the esteemed families of the military martyrs.
