Scrutiny on Humanitarian relief of Apadana and three-Doors Palace at Persepolis to Technical and Stylist Asymmetry

Abstract:
Persepolis's Reliefs are memorial of Achaemanids Dynasty in Fars Province, an abstract of art, architecture, policy, economy and management of this period, which has attracted scientists of various disciplines. Due to their historical identity, these reliefs are reliable document for studying management topics of Achaemanid Empire. Typologically, these reliefs could be divided into several groups that human images are one part of them. Analyzing this group needs the definition of a criterion that is present in intact images of Persepolis. Some of the figures are defected, each deficiency being dependent on one or some factors. Engravers and designers are the main factors in these deficiencies. Moreover, stylistic changes and time passage have increased the effects. An important fact is that sculptures that led to different but superficially similar figures copy some of the figures. With precise inspection, differences and even asymmetries can be detected. Overall, the technical deficiencies and asymmetries show a complex management system in which hidden abnormalities can be sees among them. These abnormalities could be because of the lack of a uniform organization that has led to a hidden incongruity showing itself in deficiencies and asymmetries.
