Observing everyday life of women, shows that they encounter situations in family life where their individual interests are in conflict with family interests. The present study examines factors influencing behavioral preferences of women in these situations in families. To achieve such goal this study has designed five dilemma based on theoretical scenario planning. The theoretical framework of this study is based on combination of Glygan care moral theory, Eagle's social roles, and recent rational choice theory. This research was undertaken using cluster sampling survey among 275 women employees of the Tehran municipality. In order to analyze the data Spearman Correlation Coefficient and Logistic Regression was used. The overall result showed that increase in acceptance of gender beliefs and norms, will result in increase of ethics of care and women awareness of gender role expectations in a way that they adjust their behavior to these expectations to be accepted by society. Also findings show that independent variables such as gender socialization, ethics of care, and awareness of role expectations have a significant relationship with collectivism that results in strategy of collaboration in conflicted situations in family.
