Investigating the Effectiveness of Islamic Culture on Social Security
Religion, culture and social security are the concepts that there is always a relationship between them. Religion has been known as the root of the culture in Islamic societies. On the other hand, social security is correlated with the dominant culture in the community; accordingly, Islamic culture due to essential and spiritual teachings has the potentially increasing impact on social security. This paper, explaining the fundamental role of religion in culture, scrutinizes the effectiveness of Islamic culture on social security. Hence the main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship and the impact of Islamic culture and its dimensions on social security.
In terms of its objectives this study is of an applied research, in terms of the data it is of a quantitative type and in terms of the nature and type of study is a cross-sectional survey. The main hypothesis was defined for the existence of a significant relationship between Islamic culture and social security. Hence taking the advantage of experts' opinions a set of indicators for measuring major cultural dimensions were extracted from the essential spiritual teachings and its validity was confirmed. Then the hypothesis was examined using correlation test of sampling and data from appropriate experts. There is a correlation between Islamic culture and major cultural dimensions and social security.
