Role of the Ulama, University and Bazaar of Isfahan: From the Oil Nationalization Movement to Islamic Movement

Changes in the class structure and chang of the traditional and new middle class attitudes toward political conditions and close links these groups with Ulama and their tendency towards religion are the notable points in the contemporary history of Iran, particularly in 1950s and 1960s. The close ties between the university, clerics and bazar during 1950s and 1960s was among the reasons for this development.
This Article by using analytical method, reviews the Isfahan's role in Iran's contemporary developments from Oil Nationalization Movement until of end the Movement of June 1963 Uprising.
Based on the findings, due to people's religious tendencies and close relations between the bazaar, university with Ulama, some movements in support of the National, Islamic uprising took place in Isfahan.
