A Study of the Involvement of Children in design and urban planning; Challenges and Solutions

Abstract:
Create an urban space for children's welfare requires attention to a variety of planning and design of the city. A guide shows how to redesign the parameters and correct use of child friendly spaces can be created. Guided spaces can be designed in a way that children reduce barriers to independent access. And this is in line with a plan to make the city ideal for children. The participation of children in the planning and urban planning is the most important topics in the field of child-friendly cities. The subject of the present article is formed. Research methodology is descriptive - analytical and meta-analysis method that uses environmental scanning and participation of children and paving the way for its participation model has to offer. For this purpose, using the analytical method - descriptions, definitions of the characteristics child friendly cities and the participation of children in urban affairs with regard to the involvement of children in urban projects, strategies to promote the participation of children and adolescents in the formation of urban spaces provided.
