Sociological Study of the Relation of Religiosity and Social Trust on the tendency to Sacrifice in Kohgiloye & Boyerahamd Province

Abstract:
This article aims at to assess citizens religiosity, trust and their effect on martyrdom and Sacrifice. Using survey method, sample size was estimated based on Morgan Table Sampling as 384 cases and classified multi-stage random sampling method was used for case selection in Yasouj, Dehdasht and Gachsaran cities. Using researcher- made questionnaire for collecting data, Face validity and Coronbach Alpha, were used for its validity and reliability assessment, respectively. SPSS software was used for data analyzing. Findings showed that there is direct significant relationship between Religiosity, Social Trust and dependent variable, so that about 17 percentages of dependent variable variance had been determined by Religiosity and social trust. Findings showed that there is not significant relationship between Education and dependent variable and there was not significant relationship between Age and dependent variable. There was no significant difference between dependent variable according marital situation and gender.
