Identifying the challenges and success Solutions of research and development (Case study: Iran Telecommunication Research Center)

Nowadays, the continuous economic growth is one of the basic requirements in the country's current conditions. The effective and calculated increase in research and development costs, and efficient management could be a solution to the economic development of the country. On the other hand, poor management is an obstacle that impedes R&D in organizations as well. In this paper, by reviewing the present literature in the field of R&D, and using the context analysis method and Fuzzy Delphi technique, the existing challenges and success strategies are identified; and finally 30 main challenges and 28 strategies for successful R&D at Iran Telecommunication Research Center are obtained. At the end, the challenges and solutions are described and by using the method of factor analysis and clustering them in three groups, including factors related to researchers, antra- and extra organizational factors, it is tried to analyze the status of the research and development at Iran Telecommunication Research Center.
