Abstract:
Infrared homing missiles use infrared radiations of targets to detect and track them. Easily usage and cost of benefit of these missiles is a serious threat for aerial targets. In this study, briefly, have been introduced different types of infrared seekers with their mechanisms to tracking thermal targets. Then, countermeasures of aerial targets, are studied and investigated such as throw flares.
