The relationship between spiritual well-being and psychological empowerment in nursing students

Nurses, because of the nature of their profession require certain abilities. The important ability is psychological empowerment that can be a valuable tool in providing spiritual health.
This descriptive-correlative study was done to determine the relationship between spiritual health and psychological empowerment in nursing students. The data were collected using a demographic and spiritual well-being and psychological empowerment scale.
The mean score of spiritual well-being (8.48±77.3) and psychological empowerment (1.46±4.16) was determined. There was significant relationship between the two dimensions of psychological empowerment and spiritual well-being.
The spiritual well-being would be related with psychological empowerment, so the spiritual health can play an important role in the empowerment of nursing students.
