The Effectiveness of Training Specialized Courses in the Field of Intelligence in Scientific- Technical Institutes (Case Study: Shahid Chamran Scientific-Technical Training Center, Karaj)
Today, managers consider training and development of human resources as critical tasks on the way of organizational restructuring and in this regard they are doing many actions and by providing training, knowledge and professional skills for the staff, improve their effectiveness and coordinate their job performance with organizational goals. The main objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of training specialized courses in the field of intelligence in police scientific-technical institutes (case study: the students of Shahid Chamran training center, Karaj).
In terms of the purpose, the present study is of an applied research type and in terms of methodology it is of a descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of study included a total of 168 graduate officers of Shahid Chamran training center in the field of intelligence in Karaj. The sample size was estimated as 116 individuals based on Cochran formula. Samples were selected using simple random sampling method. The assessment tool was a researcher-made questionnaire developed by using the "Kirk Patrick" model. Its validity was confirmed by the experts and the reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha coefficient.
The results indicated that the graduate officers’ the teachers’ qualifications was good and the level of satisfaction with the quality of the training course at the average level. The level of learning in this period was evaluated at high level. However, the quality of graduates’ behavioral performance in terms of both commanders and graduate officers’ points of views was at average level.
