Locations and Their Role in Quran's Translation

Abstract:
Quran verses have always been guides and leaders to revelation eagers. The people of Muhammad era didnt face difficulty in verses meaning reception and understanding but by passing time and reaching Quran to the ones who were not familiar with Arabic Language and culture, the need to translation of Quran were felt. In order to translate Holy Quran to other languages, familiarity and expertise with their cultures and situations were necessary; because there were relationship between the verses content and the events, occasions and situations. Also this question rises that why the location should be paid attention in translations? What is the outcome of paying attention to this? The present paper – which has been done in library research method – the locations and their role in Quran translation has been surveyed and studied.
