Moral, religious & legal challenges of euthanasia

Abstract:
The Euthanasia is issue that has created challenges in terms of the legal, ethical and jurisprudence. The euthanasia is the practice of intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering by doctor or his family with the request of the patient or without question. The proponents of euthanasia pay attention free will of man .He/she can decide his/her fate. God has given wisdom and decision making, but that does not mean that, life and death of any human at himself/herself disposal. Because in the Holy Quran explicitly states that killing a human being is like killing all humanity. On the other hand, in addition to the emphasis on patience in adversity, because of the lack of rule of man to body and soul, severe prohibition of suicide and killing others in terms of verses and traditions ; Also, in terms of logic and ethics and the need to prevent any abuse ; It seams that euthanasia is forbidden In terms of Islamic jurisprudence and legally is murder. However, in some countries, the euthanasia is allowed. In this article, by using of descriptive and analytical method, we are looking for investigate the challenges moral, religious, and legal from the perspective of human rights instruments.
