Mediating Role of Empowering for Organizational Intelligence and Quality of Life

Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to explain the mediating role of empowering in relationship between organizational intelligence and quality of working life. The sample included all of employees of Islamic Azad university of Marvdasht. The method was descriptive and correlation and 90 employees were selected by stratified sampling. The instrument consisted of three Albrechtʼ organizational intelligence, Ghasemzadeʼ quality of working life and Spreitzerʼ empowering. Mean and standard deviation for descriptive statistic and path analysis using Baron and Keni method and hierarchical regression for inferential statistic were used to analyze data. The result showed that empowering plays a minor role. According to the results, value of beta for organizational intelligence to predict empower has zero correlation and because of indirect impact of organizational intelligence on life quality through empowering, it can be concluded that empowering is considered as a moderating variable for relationship between organizational intelligence and life quality
