The Role of Iran's Social Traditions in Iraq's Contemporary Literature by Looking at Javaheri, Najafi, Sayyab and Bayati Works

Abstract:
Every poet or author adds value to his country’s literature and culture history as well as a comprehensive image of his inner and our world. Persian poets also were affected by Indian ones in an era; but the journey to the West was of more value. Many poets tried to be affected by westerns and today’s Iraqis after Safavid dominance on Iran. Attention to Iraq was in many poets’ minds; on the other hand many Iraqi poets and thinkers paid special attention to some Iran’s traditions. The present paper attempts to study culture, symbols, Persian language and literature influence – which all are sub – traditions – in four Iraqi contemporary poets: Javaheri, Najafi, Sayyab and Bayati.
