The role of ecological culture of citizens in the separation of household waste

Waste separation is one of the most important environmental indicators in the contemporary world. Citizens towards the environment by doing a proper separation of tongue action. This will produce less waste volume as well as the reuse of some materials such as paper, wood, glass and iron can reduce their consumption. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the role of environmental culture of citizens in the separation of household waste was conducted through a survey. Statistical analysis software Spss and Amos both the study was conducted. Environmental culture of citizens in the next five environmental behavior, environmental responsibility, environmental norms, environmental values and environmental awareness is defined and distribution of questionnaires among 384 residents have been collected. The separation of household waste is defined in terms of respondents with five questions and Cronbach's alpha coefficient indicates the validity of the questionnaire for this study is 0/86. The results showed that citizens not have a proper environmental culture. Citizens also environmental culture is an inverse correlation with the separation of household waste. As an environmental culture of the citizens is high as a result of the resolution will also increase. A total of five environmental behavior, environmental responsibility, environmental norms, environmental values and environmental awareness could explain 6.10 of the total changes in Isfahan waste separation.
