This research aimed to study parental pressure level in the process of acquiring expertise in track and field female athletes of Iran based on the Developmental Model of Sport Participation. This study was descriptive done by the survey method. Study population consisted of 42 expert track and field female athletes of Iran selected purposefully in available mode. Data was measured using The Developmental History of Athletes Questionnaire by Hopwood (2013). Data were used by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis of autonomous estimation at %95 confidence. Results showed that 76/2 of the athletes aging 6-12 years had no track and field exercise. According to autonomous estimation at %95 confidence we can say that the average level of parental pressure on athletes between the ages of 13-15 and those who are higher than 16 was very low.. These findings can be helpful for the officials of educational programs and parents to put their children in a better sports path to reach expertise.
